At FAPCAN, we use film as a powerful tool for healing, expression, and transformation. Through Save Souls Film Industry, we engage young people and community members in acting, storytelling, and film production — giving them a voice to tell their own stories.

Many of the individuals we work with come from difficult backgrounds, including street life, broken homes, and trauma. Film provides a safe space where they can express emotions, rebuild confidence, and rediscover purpose.

Instead of being defined by their past, they become storytellers, actors, and creators.

From the Actors
& Storytellers

"Film saved my life. I was living on the street when Alfred invited me to join. Now I act, I direct, I script. I have a purpose and I use it to help others find theirs."

S
Samuel Kule
Actor & Co-Director, SSFI

"I was afraid of speaking in public. After six months in the programme, I performed in front of hundreds of people. Film gave me a voice I never knew I had."

R
Rose Muhindo
Actress, SSFI Community Member

"Our film travelled to other districts. People who have never been to Kidodo saw our story and were moved. That is power — and we created it ourselves."
